What’s posted
City's 'Prototype Plans' page lists 8 named ADU plans with direct download links: 5 detached ADUs (Studio 384sf, 1BR 518sf, 1BR 763sf, 1BR 508sf, 2BR 909sf) and 3 garage-conversion ADUs (Studio 224sf, 1BR 428sf, 2BR 649sf), designed by RRM Design Group in Spanish/Traditional/Modern styles.
Gap from a fully compliant program: Applicant must still email the Planning Division with the plan number to formally use a plan for permitting; no individual designer contact info beyond the city's own planning email is posted.

WebFetch succeeded directly; confirmed 8 distinct named/sized plans with direct download links in a table, plus a real multi-page architectural drawing set verified for one plan PDF. Adversarially re-verified 2026-07-31: independent re-fetch confirmed all 8 plans, the 5-detached/3-garage-conversion split, and RRM Design Group; additionally found each plan comes in 3 architectural styles (Spanish/Traditional/Modern), a completeness detail the original scan omitted but does not change the finding.
Any other agency can adopt these plans
Cal. Gov. Code § 65852.27, added by Stats. 2023, ch. 759, amended by Stats. 2024, ch. 7 (SB 477) (§ 65852.27(a)(5)) lets any California local agency admit into its own program plans “A local agency may also admit the following accessory dwelling unit plans into the program: (A) Plans that have been developed and preapproved by the local agency. (B) Plans that have been preapproved by other agencies within the state.” A city or county without a preapproval program of its own can post City of Dublin’s plans as part of its own program instead of designing new ones — see the full statewide catalog for more options.
We build and maintain the program page, the plan library and the required third-party submission path for agencies that want to stand this up: $1,950 setup + $3,600/year (year one all-in $5,550).
